Honoring SAF’s visual identity and drawing inspiration from the Year of the Fire Horse, red becomes the conceptual and atmospheric anchor of the scenography, shaping both the composition and the spatial experience. While presenting the work of five artists, the display remains light and compact, guided by a sense of optimism that connects memory with future possibilities.
At its core is JOY by Hungarian-rooted American photographer Anthony Marchetti, which establishes the visual and conceptual focus of the presentation. It is shown alongside works by French photographer Jean-François Lepage and Hungarian artist Valéria Sóváradi, creating a dialogue across the main five-meter wall.
This composition is complemented by a small-scale sculptural installation of glass works by Hungarian artist Stella Koleszár, whose practice explores the relationship between human beings and nature.
On the adjacent three-meter wall, the presentation is intentionally restrained, featuring two remarkable works from the Urban Flow series by Berlin-based Hungarian artist Ádám Magyar. Depicting the anonymous choreography of the contemporary city, the works evoke the shared rhythms and collective trajectories that shape our everyday lives.
